Ships from h*ll bug

Okay, I just built Tri Strontium Steel. From the description, I gather it's supposed to give your Ships and Starbases an extra 50% hitpoints.

Thus, I'm assuming the fact that my ships now have 42 million hitpoints is a bug?

It won't show up when you load it, that's how I fix the bug (save and load).

A little further info, I think I've tracked down the bug further - it wasn't the Steel. In my game, I, as the pacifists, lost senate control. In the last election, I _still_ didn't have control, so I got the Social/Influence Hit, and since the War Party won, I took a -50 HP hit.

This 42million HP appeared after the election.
