Auto pilot ship movement does not complete movement points

I set a colony ship's target as a star to colonize. The ship is 2 moves from the target and still has one movement point left at the end of a turn (autoturn off). None of the tricks I learned on the previous builds will get the ship to move its last move point without taking it out of autopilot and setting the target again.

I am sending the saved game file and other data to Cari.

Ok, I loaded the save game. The currently selected ship was a scout, who had no moves left. So I hit the turn button, and went to check on the auto-pilot ship. It had made its one move off-screen (I was still centered on the scout when I hit the turn button). So I moved the other ships manually, and then the colony ship started moving and reached its destination normally.

So from the point that I got the game, it seemed to behave normally.

Which doesn't answer why the colony ship only had 1/2 moves in the first place. Where was the ship when you put it on auto-pilot? Did it not move immediately when you set the auto-pilot destination?

The colony ship was built at Sol and was given its target immediately after de-orbitting.

ok...I'll try to reproduce it's path from there.

Some ships stop exactly two spaces away from their destination here. Mostly survey and colony ships.

Selecting the ship and resetting it's path gets it moving again in every case.

Drat...I think I may know what's causing that...

Ok...I think that I've fixed it, but it will require more testing.
