Hi all. I have dl'd the Darkzone theme but am unable to open it.
i renamed it per the instructions ans double clicked. for some reasom RealPlayer is the default 'opener' for the .dxtheme.
what the heck am i doing wrong. not even WinZip will open it.
is all this even worth it (boo hoo) lol

Do you have DesktopX (the program) installed?

if you have DesktopX instaled you can change the default 'opener' by right clicking the file and going into the properties. from there, change the "Type of file:" by seting it to DesktopX. (You may have to browse for the exe file of DesktopX.)
If that doesn't solve your Problem, then I'm not sure what will.

Open DesktopX and try installing theme from there.

Too true! I had it once (came with another application I wanted) and it would constantly make itself the default player, despite unchecking that option several times.
Its nuiscance value was more than I could bear so I just got rid of it.
