External Hard Dirve Icon is corrupted

Iomega USB 2EHDD Icon does not apply correctly

Since a recent upgrade of Object Desktop, the Drive Icon for my external usb hard drive does not display correctly a meaningless Windows folder icon is displayed. I have the NEXT icon set selected and it  applies correctly for everything else. Not sure this is a bug, I would like to know how to fix it, have tried all the obvious ways to re-set. John Butler

Object Desktop itself is not a program, but is rather a collection of programs.

I assume you're referring to IconPackager in your situation.  

Try this:

  • Load IconPackager
  • Click Tools->Rebuild Icon Cache
  • Click Tools->Repair Icon Images
  • Click "Yes" to the prompt that comes up.

At this point, the icon images should all be loaded. If you are having problems with one specific icon, it might even be easier to just right click on the trouble icon, go to properties and go to "Icon" to modify the icon image there.
