Need a utility to organize my music files
Is there a utility out there that can extract the info from mp3 and wma files and move them into desired folders?
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.
| i have used musicmatch to do this ..you can set it to create exactly what you want folders by artist, then a seperate folder for each album, but it does this when ripping from my CDs, so it may not work if you have already ripped the music |

| Well thomas, depending on how much music you have, you could do it by hand. Just sort by artist, move into folders, then sort by album withing the folders, move into more folders. |

I'm very found of it my self. I perticulary like the greeness.
* hihihi.... sorry couldn't resist...
as does iTunes (i have over 20gb worth of music and those were the best for me to use! iTunes is really easy for organizing. media monkey only gave me troubles a few times were it wouldn't change a few files, but other than that it was great. good luck
When you install iTunes it asks you if you want it to take over file associations.
