Show desktop button -> Regular icons

When I hit the show desktop button on the quick start menu, then the desktop icons show up as regular.

Rather than pressing the "Show Desktop" button or Windows+D, press Windows+M to minimize your windows. By "Showing the desktop" Windows just draws your desktop on top of everything else and will cover any other customizations you may have running.
