Economy sliders

Is it just me or are others completely baffled by these? I guess the guys will sort it but I havn't noticed too mant threads on this so perhaps it is just me!

When I slide the sliders to adjust the amount of resources and taxation they jump around in a way unexplicable to me. I know that increasing base taxation beyond a point actually reduces output due to the effects of lowering morate and therefore population productivity but strange thing happen-

- increasing tax (sliders moving from left to right does not produce the same figures when reducing through the same point (right to left)
- recently I had 3m credits to spend - i increased spending (not tax) and couldn't use the last 1b creds no matter what i did - it eventually jumped from +1bn available to 8bn overspend.
- I seem to be totally unable to 'fine tune' frustratingly if i go on a clicking spree. In a current game I can pass a magic 12bn income but can i stop the slider on it? no! I can tweak to about 4bn at best

At the moment this is my greatest source of frustration as fine tuning productivity is everything to this game.

The sliders don't always properly account for morale when they are adjusted. Treat it as a rough approximation.

If you click the tab at the bottom of the screen again after adjusting the slider, it updates to results that are more accurate.

The fine tuning problems are mainly because the slider only has 100 settings which depend on your empire's fanancial and morale situation, and it can be hard to stop on some of them if you don't use the arrows instead of the slider.
