On the ship list, what is it - a constructor or a star base?

The updating of the ship list is a little bit slow on the change of a constructor to a star base. After constructing a star base and calling up the ship list it is still shown as a constructor. Clicking on the constructor in the list causes it to change to a star base, but only for a moment. In one case I had two constructors in the list next to each other that I had just turned into star bases. When I clicked on one in the list it changed to display a star base. Then I clicked on the other one, which changed to a star base, but the first one changed BACK to a constructor. Also, after clicking one of these guys scrolling the list returns it back to a constructor.
