Forum submission problem

Since July, I had always maintained a "logon" status at www.galciv.com...Today, I could not submit a reply or a new thread : my messages were never posted, nothing happened, even after doing a refresh of the page...I did my first "logoff" since July and then immediately logged back on. I then could see my messages posted once again. I write this so that if it happens to you, you might try this improvised solution. If someone can explain what happened, I would be curious to read about it. :notsure:

Thanks I had the same problem. Logging out and back in fixed it

same problem here last night. Pity I lost all my replies and posts last night. It never even dawned on me that they were not being posted.

This has been happening to us since this forum first came into existance. No explanation has ever been made of what the rationale is for forcing us to log of and back on periodically has been made. I also think it is very poor to give us such a "black hole" response. At least tell us that a post did not get entered "because our logon has timed out".
