That has never happened here, but I have an extension called SessionSaver which you can get here:

Maybe it can help you.

Twice in the past 4 to 6 weeks..not sure of exact time frame. I have opened up Firefox which is my default browser and found all my tabs and bookmarks wiped out.

Never ever happened here since I started using Firefox. Did you recently install a new extension? Or did you recently install a newer version of Firefox whithout checking whether your extensions are still compatible with it?

Simple solution! Use IE!

Kona, I use Maxthon, and am going to try Avant. However, and I don't mean this disrespectfully...
It's becoming quite rude of you to inject this same ol "IE" answer whenever someone which obviously likes Firefox has a slight issue or comment about it.
Why don't you lighten up and stop trying to piss people off.

I dont recall anything new being added. Thats why Im lost as to the reason. The only thing I can think of was this started after I installed that smiley program that is for Firefox. But right now its no longer installed. I did a quickie uninstall/reinstall so thats gone now. Im not sure how long ago I added that. But..I have used Firefox a long time without any problem..thanks for replies..
