No resources?!

Okay, if this isn't a bug, I'd love to know what;s going on.

I'm playing along, actually having a _decent_ game for once (no wars, I actually own 4 systems/5 planets, I've got some bases on the way) and then I notice something really wacky - none of my systems are producing anything. I look at the planets, and they all say "no resources".

What gives?

If you're more than 500 in debt then the people stop working.

If the people stop working at -$500, what happens when you're -$10000 in the hole (like I've seen some alien races in beta 2)? ;)
