How can I use Stardock/Windowsblinds on a standalone computer?

I really want to use stardock on a stand alone computer. Is there a way to transfer Stardock and load skins to a stand alone?

If you are referring to Stardock Central, and using it to install WindowBlinds, you would start by installing Stardock Central on a machine that is connected to the internet > download and install WindowBlinds onto that machine > create an archive (see my mini tutorial here Link) > burn a copy of the Stardock Central program and the archive file to CD.

Take the CD to your stand alone computer > install Stardock Central > place the archive from the disc into "C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP" folder > start Stardock Central > use the Restore Archive function indicated in the mini tutorial to install WindowBlinds.

Note - the only uncertainty that would concern me with this method, would be the need to register the product in Stardock Central to prevent an uncorrupted install of WindowBlinds.

Your other alternatives would be:

1 - Connect the stand alone computer to the internet temporarily to register products in Stardock Central and install WindowBlinds, then disconnect and run as stand alone machine.
2 - Install the shareware (limited) version of WindowBlinds on stand alone machine.
3 - Purchase a full stand alone version of WindowBlinds.

Skins are not a problem, just copy the ".wba" file to say My Documents, then double-click to install.

Note - the only reason you would need to be connected to the internet for the WindowBlinds program, would be for using Stardock Central to install the program - otherwise, WindowBlinds is a stand alone program.

Good luck.
