3DGamers has caught word that the PC edition of Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows has been canceled. The quick post from 3DGamers explains that they contacted Midway after noticing that the PC-CD Rom logo had been removed from Gauntlet's website. The inquiry was answered with the grim detail that the game has indeed been canned for PC but no reason was given. The cancellation could be in part due to the departure of John Romero and J.E. Sawyer who were working on the project, but that simply speculation. Other versions of the remake are said to still be on track for release this winter. Source: 3DGamers Article

Good move IMO. I doubt it would sell much on the PC. PC gamers tend to buy less crap than the rest, and from what I have seen this game is bound to be full of it. Just my opinion of course.
