Maybe he just wanted to be well known
The sad thing is he probably went home feeling victorious instead of embarrassed like he should have been.
Maybe he just wanted to be well known Danny, that has to be one of the most assinine things I've ever heard you say. I don't have anything nice to say, ergo I shall say nothing further.
Karen, I assume you missed the emoticon at the end of Danny's line. He was trying to be sarcastic!
No, I saw it. Sarcasm doesn't translate well through emoticons though. I didn't think he was trying to be sarcastic and if he was then I apologize for my comment. However Danny has, in the past, left some responses on my threads that have been just plaing silly. Like the time I wrote an article about wanting tattoos with the Kanji symbols for 'wisdom' and 'courage' on the tops of my feet, but how I was kind of scared to get them because I didn't want to end up with symbols that meant something totally different. Danny's response? He said that it would be okay, that if I did get the wrong symbols I could just tell people that i was trying to stamp those characteristics out of my personality.
So, does that help clarify why I said what I did to him?

But in this case "if" he was not just being "silly buggers", then what he wrote was just plain ignorant.
She must have been right there also, as she described the same event and felt the same way you did.
was trying to be humourous, I'm sorry I offended.
