LiteStep

Mac OS X RCXIII

Alright, I'm new to everything here. Basically I'm sick of how Windows XP looks, so I think it would be cool to have a Mac theme. To do so, I just need help installing the LiteStep and then the Mac OS X RCXIII. If possible, please write a step by step tutorial for me to follow so I don't screw up my computer.

I wouldn't risk it if you are not sure of what you are doing - DesktopX is much easier and more widely used.

Litestep is a Shell replacement program.. DX is A GUI enhancement .... i run both While Litestep has been the "red headed step child" it in my book is the only way to go for "shells".. the stability of recent builds compares to the default shell...but it is not for the faint at heart "READ EVERY THING YOU CAN ON IT"..

Why is it not for the faint at heart?
Litestep is totally customizable in every aspect...and i mean every aspect...you can customise the "code" and images...
Most the horror storys you will hear are typically either "the user went in and changed things in the RC files" which caused LS to "crash"
or they downloaded a new theme that wasent complete or has not been brought up to meet the newer LS builds specs "which can also cause LS to appear to "crash"...

if you decide to read up and go ahead with a LS setup... there are many here willing to help you get on your way..

"hint".. if you ever "crash" litestep.. ctrl/alt/del will still bring up the task manager and you can start explorer through it ...
