crash on reload

I hit the turn button and the game crashes. This is bad enough, but now it crashes back to the desktop whenever I try to load the autosave. The previous autosave played to the same point and then crashed. I'm running DX 9 and have installed ver 1.2. I love this game, but I'm afraid to start a new civ. Besides, I was about to win. Help would be great because I'm totally addicted. Almost as bad as CIV 3.

First keep the autosave that shows the problem and send it to Cari with a description of the problem along with any mods you have installed.

Assuming you have other saved games you'll need to go back and replay to the end. Hopefully it's just a corrrupt save game.

Go ahead and try a new civ, play a few years and save... see if you still have the reload problem.
