How Do I Get A Picture on Here?

I can try... First of all, you have to host your pics at a web site that supports linking. I use MSN groups, and I've found that yahoo sucks for that kind of thing. Once you have your pics appropriately hosted, you right click on the full size image that you want to post here. Go to 'properties', the copy the URL . Pate that URL into the 'image' block when you're composing your blog, click 'ok' (it should insert itself into the body of text)...post your blog, and if you've done it right...voila! You got yourself a picture on your blog!

Maybe I'm screwing it up, but I don't think so...I still keep getting a little box with an "X" on it. Are there any other ways to do it?

Try to post one as a comment, maybe we can find the problem once the attempt can be seen? I do pictures with <IMG SRC=url>
just replace the url with whatever the url for your picture is.

log in and create a folder.

open the folder and click on the upload images button.

when the next page loads, enter a name for the file you wanna put online,(just because), click on the browse button and a window will open enabling you to navigate to the location on your drive where you've got the image file stored. select it, click okay and...boom...itll start uploading (even has a lil progress gauge).

when you get the upload succeeded message, click on the 'done uploading' button and youll be presented with a thumbnail and a field in which (by default) you'll find the html code.

assuming youre using a browser that enables you to 'see' the ju image button, you can copy that code, click on the button, paste it in to the empty field and youre done.

OR

you can select the site's 'get code' option (it's just below the field with the html code) and a window will pop up with both html and ubb code. copy the ubb code and paste it into the boddy of your post.

I also like the online image editing tools they have... simple but handy...

Thanks y'all. It finally worked for me.

webpost.net is the one that I use. it's easy to upload several pictures at once and it gives you a great index so you can get to the picture you want quickly.
