Stardock Problems

Hey folk,

Gotta problem getting Stardock to work properly. I have downloaded and istalled the program, and when I go to put in my registration info, it doesn't recognize my Serial Number.

I bought the game, and I have the serial number right in front of me. I am copying it correctly, but it apparently doesn't like me.

Of course, the whole reason I want to get into Stardock is so I can get the latest patch to the game (1.13, right?). (I'm also praying that the whole waste system was fixed).

Any help? Much thanks in advance.

Hmmm....don't kill me for asking, but have checked if your email address is the same as the one you registered when downloading Stardock Central ?

If you refering to the fact that you can't adjust spending sliders for each planet. I'm afraid this is left the way it has always been (I don't think it will be changed, since that require the AI's to do alot more thinking)

Yes, I have checked that my email is correct. I even hit the "Send Serial Number" button, to which I received an email that did not have my serial number! So it won't take the one I have, it doesn't remember the one I gave it.... not a way to spend a Saturday morning, ya know?

So they didn't fix the waste system.... Are we waiting for a sequel, then?

No that doesn't sound to good - the serial you have is that the same as the one shown when you click this link http://www.galciv.com/playerreg.asp

I don't think they will ever change the the way the spending work (i.e. make you able to adjust for each planet)

Thanks for your replies. I hadn't seen that registration screen before, but I went ahead and registered there without a problem. I'm still getting the "Failed to update account" message from Stardock.

I'll probably end up calling them to straighten out my registration.

Are you entering the Gal Civ serial under Games Subscription (not the right place) or Galactic Civilizations?
