When it gets to the loading screen, the default windows one loads very lightly, then my bootskin customized one flashes for a second, then i get the old blue screen of death telling me files are corrupted and to run chckdsk /F or something, which i dont see how i can do as i cant even get the computer to boot. Safemode booting does the same thing. Neep help asap, was updating because i have a lan party tomarrow

You'll need to run Recovery console from the XP installation disk...once at the prompt type chkdsk /p that should correct your file problem..but you may not be done yet..you might have to fix the MBR as well..do do this all you have to type at the prompt is fixmbr..but use this as a very last resort..

Hope this helps,

::nods:: Unsigned Drivers can be a bear, you can still use them but it takes some doing..you have to force the issue..
Anyway, I'll bet your glad thats over!..::laughs::
Glad to see you made it back.
