download 1.1 installation problems

After I download 1.1 from stardock, I try to extract the files, but it fails.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but I'd appreciate anyone's help on this.

Did you save the zip file to your harddrive first?

Try right clicking on the link and then choose save target as. Then extract the exe from there.
