Any way to get my money back for an online download (screen resolution)?

Hi guys,
Sorry to be difficult, but I like many others found out after the fact about the decision to restrict the resolution to 1024x768 rather than deliver that as the defuault and allow it to be changed in a config file like civ3. I guess I just like my games at 1600x1200, since I have the capability. Maybe I'm weird but this is a big deal to me, I tried it in windowed mode and was pretty disappointed.
Is there any way to get my money back? I'm a pretty honest guy, have already uninstalled it, relinquish all rights to the serial number, etc.
