Account number? Please help

I'm a journalist who's borrowed a promo copy from a guy at work. When I try and boot up the game it asks me for my account number. What is this, and can I find it quite easily now I have created an account?

Account number will be on the CD box it came with. You need this to install the game to stop people pirating. Just ask the person you borrowed the game from. Beware though, if that account number starts getting used by mamny people Stardock will disable it.

For metaverse maybe but it's kind of hard to disable it from being installed period.

Although they could prevent you from downloading the patches since that requires the cd key too.
