Can't register seriel number for version 1.09 of Gal civ. HELP

I have purchased the version 1.09 for Gal Civ. I have downloaded stardock central on my laptop; however, when I regeister the game to get the downloadable software, I keep getting an error message, "invalid seriel number." Of course, Stardock doesn't have a human being to talk to in order to get technical support. Can anyone help me? I have disabled any pop up blockers etc.

That's not very fair. They do come here quite a lot, and answer many questions and give precious help. Much more than I've seen anywhere else.
(I do understand that that kind of problem can get frustrating fast, I've been there ;) )

On this matter:
Under "tools", you select products and you have to register for drengin.net, with the serial number that was provided to you when you purchased it.
The 1.09 update is still at beta stage and is only accessible (for now) to drengin.net users (as far as I understand)
