Figuring out influence -- feature request

It would be very nice if there was a button that showed the details of influence. My current game I'm having a bunch of planets flipping to me and I sure don't see why. Sure, F8 shows influence numbers that would result in a flip but I can't figure out where in the world they are coming from.

There are three main star clusters in the game, each of us basically held one. The fourth race had a tiny cluster and toeholds in the other two clusters. When they gave up I got their worlds so I had toeholds on the edges of the other two clusters. Now, I would think if there was any flip danger it would be my worlds flipping to the AI, although we did not share a sector at any point so I figured I was safe. I have built starbases but they have *NO* culture mods on them. There are a few bases scattered through their space because of resources, again, no culture mods--those bases are mining and speed bonuses only.
However, it looks like I'm going to roll up the Torians pretty soon. I'm getting a revolt every turn or two. Yes--I've got about 9000 influence in the border sectors, *FAR* more than they have. I can't imagine where it's coming from, though.

Related--when using F8 in a sector with a minor, please show the culture of that minor. Knowing if there is flip danger with your trading partner would be nice.

There are sources of influence other than cultural modules. In fact, in my last gigantic game, I flipped 4 races without a single cultural module built.

There is your base planet influence. That is a function of your intrinsic system influence (dark purple stars inherently has more influence), the population (higher pop, higher influence) and your influence boosting social improvements you build in your system.

There is your racial abilities - you can pick influence bonuses at the start.

There are influence resources you can mine for lots of influence bonuses.

And there are influence TGs/wonders you build.

It seems to be that plain SBs give a slight bonus to influence as well as I have seen sectors with a newly acquired SB without influence modules turn to my color.

I've figured it out since I posted it--I had been buying up resource starbases from the AI and had gotten 3 influence ones that I proceeded to improve. It's enough that the game is effectively over.
