Internet Explorer Window not working.

HELP, when I have downloaded many of the suites off of wincustominze.com, they load fine onto my computer, but when I click on the E to open my internet explorer window to get online, the window pops up for just a second then disappears. The only way I can get my internet exp. window to stay up so I can get online is to use the Suite "Windows Classic Desktop". How can I get IE to stay up when I am running the different suites?

Do you have SP2 installed? DO you have any other browsers installed [Mozilla, Firefox, Opera] and if so are they having the same problem?

I downloaded the the entire Object Desktop program from Stardock.com. I have figured out that it only happens when I load one of the windows blinds programs, it wont let my computer connect to internet. I am not sure if I have SP2 installed or not. No other browers besides IE.

If you have SP2 installed you would probably know it. Are you using WinXP as your operating system? What Windowblind is are you using when you encounter this problem.
Oh, and congrats on getting Object Desktop, you're foing to love everything you can do with it.

I am running Windows XP on my system, but downloaded the Object Desktop especially for XP. The only window blind that works is the good old generic MS XP blue screen. Any of the other themes are not letting me access the internet. I have sent down an email to Stardock, so hopefully they will email me back with a way I can bypass the system. Thanks so much for your help! I do appreciate it.

PaigeBig.....you don't have some obscure third-party Browser add-on or launchbar thingie by any chance?

Windowblinds skins the 'normal' MS window but there's always a chance some Spyware add-on to your browser will not be happy being skinned and cause the IE window to close....

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I do have the Yahoo taskbar on my Internet Explorer window, If I disable that bar in Explorer that might to the trick. Awesome info, will give it a go! Thank you Jafo! Your the best.

Hey, don't knock dish-water and cat pee till you try it! I think it has a bit of a washed-out salty taste...but is otherwise enjoyable on a hot summer day.
