Do you know any good 3D/Photo Rendering Programs?

I want something other than photoshop, but I don't know what. Preferably the cheaper the better, but just give me some ideas. You can also E-Mail them to me at [email protected].

paintshop pro is a good alternative to photoshop, not as expensive.

for 3d rendering... none of them are cheap, if you are doing landscaping, get bryce5, u can get a great deal on that now.
for modeling... 3dsmax is preferred but very expensive as with all other similar software

Check out the sticky thread at the top of the page entitled " You and the internet". You should find a link to a prog called "blender" that is free off the web. I tested it but have not really used it much but I know others have liked it very much. Good luck.

In my opinion, Truespace is a fine 3D program. You can get older versions (like 3) free, and the later versions increase in cost as they get more powerful. Also like the previous post said, Bryce kicks ass. Its not just for scenes, you can render anything with it. Hope this helps.
