BOOT SKIN FRUSTRATION

Hello people....Recently I posted a request on how to REMOVE the Bootskin from my start-up on Windows XP....Thanks to al for the replies, but I 'm still encountering a problem....I used the Bootskin program within the theme manager to apply the default boot screen....Well, I got rid of the one when my Dell first fires up (Ya know when it says loading windows), but when it gets to the next step where the intro begins right before your desktop appears I have this boot skin picture that is still there...No matter how many places I've explored on my hard drive I can't get rid of this pesky looking picture....And no matter how many times I hit the apply boot skin default screen, well, that only removed one screen...Any suggestions from the highly intelligent life forms out there? Appreciate it, Johnny Moe.

You meAan the part where it says Resuming Windows? I've got that on Labby(My laptop) And so far as I know there is not yet a way to skin it.

No way around that my friend. If in fact you are referring to where it tells you the type of computer you are on.
....EX. I have the screen that tells me that I am on a Dell 8250. (as if I didn't know already )
Anyways, I believe that is the screen you are talking about. Not Skinnable to my knowledge.

Try copying your bootskin folder somewhere else and uninstall the main folder for bootskin and see if that does it. Remember to reboot just in case. And if you can see what the image is that keeps coming up and know what the name of it is do a search of your PC for it and try deleting it that way.
