you should now have a file in your WindowBlinds folder
c:/program files/stardock/windowblinds

it will be the "nameofskin.wba" double click on it

Umm I can open it again, can you just give me instructions on how I should save it to a skin file?

You can't just rename a skin. You have to open it with skinstudio and save it as another name.

If you "renamed" it using "Save as..." in SkinStudio, the skin is saved....as the new name in the WB directory.

Heres what I did:

I opened the windows xp default blue skin, I changed it around and I saved it under a new name "Windows XP blue (modified)" and it doesnt work...

ohhh wait...you may not be able to save with the freeware...

May I reccommend ObjectDesktop found here https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/ ...you will not be sorry

You get all of these https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/features.asp IconPackager and WB alone is worth the price of ObjectDesktop....

I believe you can send a check through the mail. and tell your parents that there is a telephone # for stardock where the sales dept could answer their questions about the product. it's worth it, and if you are a student and in graphic design classes the program can be an asset to your studies.
always a refreshing extra credit project to make a windowblind.
