I was wondering if anyone can help me find tutorials on how to make .pmg icons, and skins for various Stardock programs. I have pretty much all of them, and I just want to know how to make the good icons, without the pink bg. >.< So if anyone can point me in the right direction, I would highly appreciate it.

I use fireworks for my icons, and since png's naturally have a transparency built into them, it makes it really easy to do away with the pink. Photoshop and PaintShopPro also support png.

All you have to do is create a new image with a transparent background, make your image, and save it as a png. All transparency (grey and white checkerboard) will be preserved, as well as alpha blending.

I just downloaded/bought Fireworks, and it looks alot easier and sweeter to use then Photoshop, if I need any help at all, I have your e-mail.
