SDC and WC Browser....Welcome to the 1990's

Can someone please send Stardock some new icons to use with these products. Here we are at the pinnacle of skinning nirvana literally tripping over talented artists in every corner you look and still with all the updates these two proggies are using archaic Win9X era icons.

What do you all think?

SDC has nice a shiny XP icon that was made by mormegil. Shows up here fine.

No I mean the icons within the programs themselves are kind of ancient.

The Object Desktop programs are all XP now.

I'm still in the process of reinstalling (gotta write a bloga bout the new machine) but these icons are not exactly ancient. More like 2 months old.

I'm pretty much an ignoramus tonight ...and definitely am not explaining things right. The progam icons are fresh and new....I agree with you both. It's the toolbar icons and the download manager globe that don't appear to be fresh. The toolbar icons are only available as 16x16 icons...even when you change them to large icons...the buttons just get bigger. The download manager globe looks quite ancient.

Brad...your showing a proggie that doesn't appear in my version of SDC called NeverTrust...just being snoopy

Anyway....I hope I've scraped enough of the dust and dead brain cells out of my cranium that I made more sense this time

Yea...what is the Never Trust program?...Im curious too

Just guessing here, but a while ago, Brad talked about a program that would add a "Never Trust" button to that dialog that asks you if you want to trust programs/scripts from this manufacturer. The XP options are "Yes this time only", "Always Trust", and "No". I think this program adds the "No, Never" button. Or something like that.

Here's a couple of examples of newer looking toolbars to see what I mean....

From Earthlink Accelerator's FTP Access Program

From latest version of Winrar

I don't think it would be hard to find somebody to make some icons to replace those.

And even more with Mormegil working for Stardock now.
