Patience, guys... from the syntax and the name, I would guess that English is not moudey's primary language.

moudey...

The program used for installation of Stardock CursorXP is available to download by clicking on this link: http://download.com.com/3000-2317-10070056.html

That is not what he is asking, he wants to know what the CursorXP Installer is not the install for CursorXP, programmers should know, it is something like "Wise", "Inno Setup".

So what he wants to know is what "Install Compiler" was used

Why would anyone care what installer a software company uses to install their program?

Stardock uses Wise installers, if that is what is being asked.  Wise is actually out of Michigan, too.  (We found that out after years of using their installer....)

Anyone who makes & distributes their own software (like Stardock!!) would be highly interested, I would think.

It's a fair-enough ask...

Chris....it may be a 'big ask' even but please try not to use 'ask' as a noun....it is a verb.

I blame sports commentators for destroying 90% of the Queen's English.....pretty darn good considering their vocabulary is so pathologically limited....

"Ooooh team X gotta kick 20 goals in this quarter to catch up, and that's a big ask"....

Yeah those sports commentators are to blame not to mention their redundant tautology.

A famous sport commentator from Aussie history, Rex "the Moose" Mossop, (not noted for his IQ) was famous for tautology and other gems such as:

"That's the most unheard of thing I've ever heard of"

And the North American King of stating the obvious, John Madden:

....a few Madden(isms)....

-They're going to need to put some points on the board if they want to win this thing.

-Unless they start catching the ball, they won’t have any more passing yards.

-He's a player who needs some time on the field in order to accomplish anything.

-If they stop them here, they will have denied them six points.

My all-time fave...a show called 'Pot Black' [snooker]...

"and now he's going for the pink......and for those of you with black and white televisions, that's the one behind the red"....
