The problem with posting these 'why did it's in the public forum is you invite blunt responses....some pro....some con.

My guess is that China's is the latter.

In future....anyone wanting to know 'why did it' should heed the lesson and resort to private email.  Much wiser....

It was rejected because it simply does not make a good wallpaper (which is a "background")

Our wallpaper section is moderated, which means that it's like juried art show.  Only a certain amount of walls will make it through.

to the admins: Just out of curiosity, how many wall submissions do you get per day, on average? What percentage are accepted? Just curious. If it's not an appropriate question, then I apologize in advance.
