Malware in Stardock Fences
Webroot keeps identifying and flagging malware in Stardock Fences. When I click on "delete" Webroot removes the malware, but a little later it pops up again. What is going on?

Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

There have been a few posts over the past 2-3 days regarding this, all with Webroot.
In fact, there is no malware in any of Stardock's apps downloaded from Stardock's servers. What Webroot is reporting is a "false positive": A virus being present when in fact, none is. Webroot then isolates (or quarantines) the file it misidentified rendering Fences nonfunctional.
I believe Webroot also gives no way to "whitelist" the misidentified software...unfortunately. You can try unchecking that misidentifed SD_services_x64.dll safely. Maybe that will allow you to continue using Fences.
Were I you, I'd notify Webroot Support as I have.
That file:
SdAppServices_x64.dll
Has been in all of our apps for many many years and has not changed in a very long time.
If it was corrupted by a virus, it was not delivered that way via the installer.
As noted here already, it is almost certainly a false positive.
