app doesn't start and can't items to a fence

Latest version of fences.  Can't drag a new item into a fence.   Click on fences app nothing happens

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details on your system.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences full version number.
  3. Did you recently install a new application or did a version upgrade for any software in your system. Something like "360 total security". Ref: https://forums.stardock.com/494957/get;3749819

reinstalled, works now but lost all customization 

Now headers on fences near the top of the monitor move from the top to the bottom even though show headers is set to always

win 10 22h2     When fence is to close to top of monitor header moves to bottom of fence

That is normal for Fences, it designed that way. If you wish not to have it move down do not move the Fence too close to the top screen edge.
