I'm experiencing problems with my BootSkins. The ones I create seem to be right in the guidelines (BMP, Resolution, etc..) but when I test the bootskin I created, the initial BMP loads fine until the bar comes up - then my screen image goes all minimalistic on me while the bar is fine. What am I doing wrong??

You will need to remake the progress bar bitmap...it clearly has the wrong palette....it MUST be identical to the main image....NOT 'JUST' also 16 colours....THE COLOURS YOU USE MUST BE THE SAME ONES AS THE MAIN IMAGE.....no 'ifs', no 'buts'.

once more....THE SAME COLOURS USED....

If you take a copy of the main image bmp that works (correct size and resolution) and reduce it to the size you have to use for a progress bar you will now have a progress bar bmp with the correct 16-color palette to edit with. At least that's how it works with Corel
