Is there Stardock Software which can revert File Explorer folder appearance from Windows 11 to Windows 10 style?

In Windows 10, labelling a jpg image as "folder" would give the folder that JPG as an icon instead of a folder icon. I want that back.

In Windows 10, labelling a jpg image as "folder" would give the folder that JPG as an icon instead of a folder icon which shows multiple contents. This would be visible generally in View settings "Medium Icons" "Large Icons" "Extra Large Icons".

In Windows 11, when doing the same thing the folder icon is a flat 2D folder with a partial clip of the JPG labelled as "folder" within. The image is cut off so significantly that it's impossible to read the image properly.

I use the folder label and JPGs to organize my folders so I can understand them without reading the Folder name. I can't do that anymore in Windows 11, so I would like to modify the appearance of every folder in Windows Explorer so it works like it did in Windows 10.

I am looking for a solution to revert the appearance of folders when viewed as Medium, Large, or Extra Large icons to Windows 10 style without uninstalling Windows 11. Does Stardock have anything that can do this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I am not sure there is anything in Stardock Software that can specifically do what, I believe, you're trying to do. The closest I can suggest is Stardock IconPackager. But, from what I read, Iconpackager is not fully compatible with Windows 11 yet. Also, I am not sure it can do what you wanted to do.

Thanks
