Few times, editor move ship component not correct with visualisation coordination system (design gizmos) in editor (sign offset was incorrect: move left not right with arrows gizmos).
Can you show a screenshot of this happening? There are a few parts that if you connect to them will cause this issue
I believe this is reported and being looked at, but I agree a screenshot would help confirm whats being described
