When going to the start menu and typing in anything there are zero results. I turned off Start11 search and Windows search works as expected, then turned on Sttart11 search again and nothing.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this uninstall Start11, important, reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Redownload the latest version again from your product account page. Reinstall it. Reboot again. Retest and report back.
