Anyone else run into the issue with the task bar icons being stuck on Large? This happened in a prior version and had to be fixed with an update. Please stop breaking things with these so called updates!
Somehow, when Start11 updated to version 1.45 my task bar was changed to large icons and auto hide. No matter what I did within Start 11 setup, nothing was able to change the task bar appearance from large & auto hide. I went into Windows (11) task bar settings, taskbar behaviors and unchecked "Optimize taskbar for touch interactions when this device is used as a table". After that I was able to configure Start11 to display small taskbar icons again. All is good for now.
Your problem was "Tablet mode".
