Is it possible to combine snapshots?

Snapshot A + Snapshot B = Snapshot C

Sorry, but that option is not available and I'm afraid that would only be a cause of confusion to the majority of users.

Yes, I agree, but a lot of functionality is gained.

Would it be possible to get a manual on how to do this with an XML file?
