I think it'll be '91 all over again except more-so.The Kiwis were the only 'real' threat....and they lost the plot big-time....besides....it was only one person who took out the Froggies...the rest of Old Blighty may as well have been down 't pub...

oops - sorry Jafo - just had to remind you f your quote -

and of my quote a few hours later

Time will tell.I'm pretty confident we can raise our game one more notch. Now, to take the Championship off the Champions in their own back yard...that WOULD be something.May the best team win

All credit to the Aussie's though, they hosted a cracking World Cup.

That's true Woodbridge, as they did in the 2000 Olympics.
Superb organization

Er...Valhalla....it was that exact same person that got you your win.....with one minute to go....

Don't forget it was Flatley who twice really made you guys work for your win.....forcing it into extra time....

He's just one of the 15 Paul.
It IS a team game.
I must confess, your lot played far better than I thought they would
Reply #58 Top

Seriously.....both teams played damn well.....and it was ultimately down to luck as to who eventually triumphed.

It certainly was not a one-sided affair like several games had been...

It would have been nice if Cardigan Man at least smiled and showed genuine appreciation of both teams...or even ANY of the teams.....

He's such a poor excuse for a human...and a waste of ectoplasm....

I saw on the website that the victorious England team is now in flight on it's way home. The trophy has a seat to itself ( no joking!). Booked well in advance of course

One wonders how you know the taste of either...

One wonders how you know the taste of either...

We've drunk both ... warm British 'beer' and cold American 'beer' ... warm and cold pussy urine!
As for sheep-dip .... every Aussie bloke knows the taste of sheep-dip ...... part of the Rites of Passage.
Now sheep-dip really does taste like a "Pint of Best" .... I'd hate to know what a "Pint of Worst" is like, probably Coors!

No Fuzzy, you're thinking of Nu Zulinders ....
Anyone who has ever spent time on a station in Australia when it's shearing season knows EXACTLY what sheep-dip tastles like, 'cause everything is flavoured by it ....
