I was looking to play Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes again, and realized to my dismay that mods have stopped being updated for new versions a long time ago - the major ones on Nexus target 1.8 or 2.2 while my Steam version is at 2.5.1. Furthermore, multiple new bugs with summons and the AI have been identified, making older versions more attractive to play than the current one.
I would like to request that you provide Rollback Betas to go back to older versions, ideally every older version so we can find the most stable one, but especially the ones known to be targeted by the last version of major mods (ex.: https://forums.elementalgame.com/451107/page/87/#2151, https://forums.elementalgame.com/443960/emod-children-of-storm-v18c-for-lh-18 ).
Giving access to older versions of a game is standard practice now for a lot of games which have a big modding audience, such as Minecraft, Kerbal Space Program, 7 Days to Die, and anything by Paradox Game Studios (Crusader Kings II, Europa Universalis IV, ...). I hope Stardock can jump on the bandwagon for the benefit of its users.
As a side-request, I'd like to ask if you could make your game available through GOG Connect so that owners on Steam can get access to a DRM-free version with access to older patches. It's not as good as providing Steam with rollback betas, but it would provide an alternative. (Removing the requirement for a Stardock Account on the Steam version would also be cool, and give more confidence in the game's longevity.)
