Display as menu - why not multicolumn?

When i add Start menu folder to Start10, and select the option to display it as menu it's extremely unconvinient to scroll up and down.
1080p monitor and the program uses 20% from the overall display area.
There is no way to mimic the old way windows displays menu -> for example in menu (2 or 3 coloumns) with submenus.
Srolling and filtering through programs (if usung all programs) is not a good idea (more actions required from the user - typing or scrolling).
