Edge Support?

Is There any Microsoft Edge Support? I thought I saw a screenshot of edge skinned. I only see an option for chrome in the settings which is weird cause I thought the whole point was that curtains was going to make it more compatible with win 10 and the apps.

If your using Edge that came with Win 10 Curtains doesn't skin it. If you go to the Microsoft website and install Edge Chromium which uses the Chrome engine then it will skin. My Edge doesn't skin, but my Chrome does.

The trade off is WindowBlinds doesn't skin Chrome, but it does skin Edge, but not Edge Chromium.

And none of my apps are skinned by Curtains. Some are with WindowBlinds.

What apps are you referring to exactly?

Curtains will skin Edge (Chromium) - you just need to ensure it is completely closed (in TaskManager) prior to skinning if its not working for you initially.  Once any skin is applied after, you can apply other skins at will without closing Edge completely.

Tip: Unchecking this from the taskbar will also work to totally close Edge (Chrome too) when you close all windows:

WB skins Weather, Settings, Calculator, Movies & TV, Edge (not Chromium), Photos (which loads with the WB skin then reverts to default)

None with Curtains

Sean these are all Windows apps.

UWP apps are listed as being looked at in the 'known issues' section here:

Chromium Edge support doesn't work too well, when you have the window active it obeys the color scheme you provide from Curtains but as soon as you go to another window it loses all color settings. That's jarring since I have a dual-monitor setup with Chrome Edge windows on both monitors.

If you mean the tabs go white then this is a known issue and there is a workaround you can use right now or wait for us to add this to an update.

In the registry go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM

Create a value AccentColorInactive as a DWORD and set this to whatever colour you want the inactive tabs to use.

This should instantly take effect.  To revert back to default behaviour just delete this value.

This assumes the style you are using doesn't set the option to not apply colour to frames

And that's the one thing that made me uninstall this program. I did the 30 day trial for it and it broke stuff and I was like... nope, this isn't going to work. I'm happy to see that this is going to fixed.

Has this issue been fixed? I didn't see anything about this mentioned in the changelog for 1.01.

The 1.01 update was a small update so didn't include new features.

This is in the upcoming 1.1 betas which hopefully will go into beta testing this month.
