Crisis about Crisis

I have noticed that if you have a Crisis, and you have to quit playing. The Crisis is gone when you start your saved game. This doesn't matter if you just had the first window. I noticed it after the 2nd window also.

Does this occur every time, or only in the save that you're using?

This has happened at least 3 times in this game. I play very long games, on ludicrous maps.

I don't recall from previous, but I think so.
