turning off trade routes?

is there a way to disable showing trade routes on the main map? all those damn lines really clutter up the map.

Also was wondering about this, first its get very confusing on the map, second iam not able to check influence-values on the hex below, since the tooltip only states "Trade-Route"...

If there is a way to disable the display of those on the map, I would be happy to hear it.
