I can't comment much about this or I know that I will be jumped on. I know you spend a lot of time on your skins and it shows. Slap me around everyone if you like, but I think shmoopy's wb skins are the best lately. Therefore, I love your work and your cheerfulness in your skins and they make me smile.

What I don't like is you getting upset. You are loved and appreciated Shmoopy and don't doubt that. Don't sweat the small stuff. It will take away from your beautiful work. I am glad to see that you are human with feelings. I am not afraid of anyone who expresses their feelings and I don't feel the need to "jump on them" and force them to defend themselves. A lot of people seem to take people with feelings as something personal against them.

And they become defensive and lash out and it just makes it worse. It is hard to participate in a community of artists, who are known to be very emotional, as it shows in their work, and expect them not to be emotional about their work. So, I understand such feelings and concerns myself, and I do not take them personally. I also have the same problem with expressing myself here and being attacked. And, to make the community better for me, I am going to work on letting my work express itself and forget about the rest because it seems to be misunderstood by the community for whatever reason.

Have no doubt Shmoopy, your work is loved and appreciated. But there are a lot of other nasty things that may come into place such as jealousy and competition. And by making comments that can be attacked, you may be opening yourself up to those other things and bringing hurt unto yourself, by those people expressing those other things. Don't sweat it Shmoopy, if you do I will miss your work and something that has brought a lot of joy and beauty into my life, and I thank you.

Now, I will be surely jumped on, but I had to express my love and concern. I too am an emotional artist.

It wasn't meant to be. I was just trying to support a fellow artist and make people aware that artists have feelings that they put into their work.
Some artists can show beautiful emotions in a mere brush stroke. It is these artists that make the best art. And their feelings need to be protected, otherwise it will hurt their work and all others who like it. Shmoopy has a rare ability to transmit such happiness in her work. It brightens my day. I would do the same for any fellow artist who decides to share their emotions in a constructive way. One can clearly see that when you express caring, we all benefit. So, please don't try to inflame my intentions or put anything else into them. Or, just shot me, for I guess I am just a caring person.
