I thought that a City added +3 to population. The base for each planet is 3. So if I have 8 cities on the planet it should be 27. But why is it 17?
Overall population max cap is now the same as planet quality. Ie A PQ9 planet can only support 9 population. The cap can only be increased by "terraforming" new tiles which raises PQ.
That change was made recently too, 2.71 or 2.8 patch I don't remember which.
Why are they cutting back on productivity?
yep sure enough now I am over city and can't destroy them either
Thank you for the bad news. I have so many extra cities now. Sigh.
To make it worse, cities are the extremely long list of improvements that cannot be destroyed.
