ill have to go with the flow here and also say windowblinds - beveled edges are my problem, my software of choice is psp, and it dont have a built in function for it like other more expensive software.

Spinal, you can simply fix that, the bevel and emboss option in ps isn't good for anything.

If you wan't to bevel someting, add a innershadow. Make sure the innershadow is over all sides, and you'll se it rise with the second

How about a using "magic pink" tutorial? Bitmap transparency always flusters me. I get that Pink around the edges effect often enough.

Also simple asnwere: You probably use photoshop, It makes the edges automaticly a bit transparant, so when you add magic pink (#FF00FF) to it, then there is this transparant of the cornor of it, and your collour code has changed.
Just paint the edges in paint, should work.

Its a pitty that your corners gets so pixelated, but there is no other way.

I have away around that which I use to fix the problem with anti-aliasing VS magic pink.
Hopefully at some point in the near future Mike and I will have some tutorials hosted at Skinplant, and I'll make that one of them.

Thanks for the tips guys, That's basically what I do now Styl, just go back over the edges, but it takes so long, and I always miss a pixel or 2! I'm looking forward to your tutorial Hippy!

Knatzz, in paint, when you select the wand tool, you can delete all the pink, witch you already made in photoshop.
The background is then white, and when you fill it again, you will see if al the white is gone, if not, just paint the pixels away with a pencil tool...
