when i try to launch the game i get a error msg the system cannt find the specifed path

Did you ever get a resolution for this problem?
I'm having the same issue and find any postings with the answer.
That usually means there is something wrong with the download. I typically see it when I'm on a branch that doesn't exist anymore.
I would recommend making sure you aren't in any of the betas and then reverify your steam files.
